About me

Hello! My name is Lorena Chihaia, a Creative Digital Media graduate student at TU Dublin. I hold a large variety of skills proved and gathered in college and as well in the previous job I worked that held administrative attributions and graphic designs before I became an undergraduate.

Born and raised in Romania, I moved to Dublin, Ireland in 2020, graduating High School with a Science specialisation followed by a Professional Graphic Design diploma in 2021 at University College Dublin (UCD) then becoming a student in TUD and finally graduating.

Ever since I was 5 years old I had been captivated by everything related to art, excelling in different fields as it was my way of expressing myself. During my years in Romania I participated in many music (piano and singing), dancing and writing contests in which I came home with medals, trophies and diplomas. I used to make piano songs and compose them by myself along with song lyrics. Around 15 years old I immersed myself into digital media world by starting off with photography and editing pictures, manipulating them, creating textures and potential book covers as a hobby in Adobe Photoshop in parallel with writing novels. University helped me gain experience and deeper knowledge in photography, graphic design, illustration, film and sound design, storytelling, web design development, digital marketing, game design.
